Stephanie's parents are in town this weekend, and her dad has been taking some really incredible shots with his new digital SLR camera. As I was showing him some shots I've taken this weekend, we stumbled across this old shot I took earlier this spring. These dogwoods, like many of my subjects, are located on the campus in Chapel Hill.
On a related note, I'm now done with classes for the summer, and until I leave the country next month, I should have more time to devote to photography. Expect this site to be updated more frequently for the next four weeks or so.

Are you going to brave it and take your nice camera to India?
Yep. The camera is going to India. My grade in the elective is going to be based on a photo journal. When I committed to that, I basically committed to taking the nice camera.
Obviously, something could happen to it. Not only is there the risk of theft, I'll also be there during monsoon season. I'll be disappointed if something happens to it, but I'd be disappointed if I didn't have it with me too.
You should get one of those cases for shooting underwater.
I had one for my last camera. I found it didn't work as well in practice as it does in theory.
